Betsy Johnson is a member of Stites & Harbison law firm. She concentrates her practice in all aspects of health law. She advises providers, payors, and health care organizations on complex regulatory, compliance, and public policy matters. Betsy has a diverse career serving in both legal and policy roles in state government and the private sector. On behalf of governmental agencies and while in the private sector, she successfully advocated for the passage of legislation impacting health care by testifying before numerous legislative committees and meeting with members of the Kentucky legislature and members of Congress.

A fierce advocate for her clients, Betsy combines deep legal knowledge with strategic insight and an extensive understanding of government decision-making to help clients navigate challenging regulatory environments and achieve successful outcomes.

Besides advocating for her clients, Betsy points to being Kentucky Medicaid commissioner and successfully defending Kentucky's Any Willing Provider law before the United States Supreme Court while serving as legal counsel to the Kentucky Department of Insurance as some of the most rewarding experiences of her career.

Betsy graduated with distinction from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. She received her Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia. Betsy was recently appointed Vice Chair of the Post-Acute Long Term Services Practice Group for the American Health Law Association.

Baili D. Campbell, DNP, RN, NE-BC, is the Assistant Vice President of Clinical Talent Development at Trilogy Health Services, where she leads enterprise-wide clinical workforce development initiatives spanning caregiver certification programs, nurse executive onboarding, regulatory compliance, and the recent launch of Trilogy School of Nursing, an innovative and industry-leading clinical workforce initiative.

A recognized leader in clinical workforce innovation, Dr. Campbell is dedicated to building sustainable clinical talent pipelines and advancing clinical career development across the profession. Her work focuses on expanding access to clinical education programs, strengthening workforce readiness, and developing innovative solutions to address healthcare staffing challenges.

A recent HR Innovation Award finalist, she is passionate about transforming the future of healthcare through education, leadership development, and workforce strategy. Guided by the belief that the “future of healthcare is determined by how we invest in our learners today”, she champions innovative educational pathways that empower the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Camille Jordan joined Brookdale in 2022 and has served as Senior Vice President, Chief Clinical Officer since March 2026, following her service as Senior Vice President of Clinical Services. Ms. Jordan is responsible for the Company's clinical strategy and operations, including care quality, healthcare strategy, dementia care, regulatory compliance, and clinical operations.

Prior to joining Brookdale, Ms. Jordan served as Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations & Innovations at Signature HealthCARE, where she held positions of increasing responsibility. Earlier in her career, she served in clinical and operational leadership roles at Kindred Healthcare, including District Director of Clinical Operations and Director of Nursing Services.

Ms. Jordan also practiced as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in hospitalist and urgent care settings and served as a Nurse Consultant/Inspector certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Ms. Jordan currently serves on the boards of the National Center for Assisted Living, the PointClickCare Advisory Board, and the Senior Living 100 Advisory Board. In 2020, she was appointed to the President's Coronavirus Commission for Safety and Quality in Nursing Homes.

Ms. Jordan earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Leadership and Management from Walden University, holds a post-master's Family Nurse Practitioner certification, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Murray State University.

John Reinhart is a nationally recognized executive advisor, serial entrepreneur, and thought leader specializing in Digital Health, HealthTech, AgeTech, and solutions designed for the rapidly growing Longevity Economy. With more than 27 years of leadership experience across healthcare, technology, and innovation ecosystems, John brings deep operational insight and a passion for transforming health systems and outcomes through scalable innovation.

Through BioHealth Innovation (BHI), John serves as the lead HealthTech Executive in Residence (EIR) for the National Institute on Aging (NIA), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and has supported a diverse portfolio of advisory engagements including projects backed by ARPA-H and international healthcare ventures. Since joining BHI in 2021, he has guided early-stage companies and research teams in commercialization strategy, fundraising, profitable business models, and go-to-market execution.

John holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky, is a licensed CPA, and earned an MBA in Healthcare Sector Management and Policy from the University of Miami. In 2025, he completed an AI in Health Care Certificate from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, deepening his expertise in health AI, data ethics, and technology-driven care models.

A pioneer in the longevity and elder care innovation space, John is co-founder and board member of the Thrive Center in Louisville, KY (www.thrivecenterky.org), a nonprofit innovation hub accelerating technologies for aging populations.

He is currently the president and a partner in Academic Platforms, which powers CNAonline (www.academicplatforms.com), a scalable solution developed with the American Health Care Association to address the national caregiver workforce crisis. In addition, John serves as a co-founder and a board member of Nirvanta Health (www.nirvantahealth.com).

John has co-founded and scaled multiple healthcare ventures—several to successful exits—including an EHR platform acquired by a NASDAQ-listed firm. His prior executive roles include CEO of an aging care medical group practice and Chief Innovation Officer at a multi-state skilled nursing and long-term care company.

John has been honored with industry accolades including Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year (2004) and Louisville Business First’s 2020 Healthcare Hero for his entrepreneurial leadership in healthcare transformation. He has co-authored chapters in two books focused on Population Health and Accountable Care. He is a frequent speaker at national summits such as the What’s Next Longevity Venture Summit has been a contributor for multiple articles including in leading sector publications such as McKnight’s.

Workforce thought leader and keynote speaker Cara Silletto, MBA, CSP, is the visionary creator of the Employee Retention Ecosystem™ and founder of Magnet Culture. Workforce Magazine in Chicago named Cara a "Game Changer," and Recruiter.com listed her in their "Top 10 Company Culture Experts to Watch." She wrote the book "Staying Power: Why Your Employees Leave & How to Keep Them Longer" and works with senior care clients coast to coast to reduce unnecessary employee turnover.

Mandy Smith is Vice President of Consulting Services at The Kemper Company, where she leads engagements in regulatory compliance, survey readiness, QAPI, clinical and operations consulting, dementia care programming, and assisted living advocacy across nursing homes, assisted living communities, home health, and hospice organizations.

She brings more than 25 years of experience in long-term care, including 15 years as Regulatory Director at the Ohio Health Care Association, translating complex federal and state regulations into practical, defensible strategies that protect providers and elevate care.

Mandy holds credentials as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA), Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA), Certified Executive for Assisted Living (CEAL), and Certified Executive for Home Care and Hospice (CEHCH), along with advanced certifications in resident assessment, infection prevention, QAPI, wound care, and activity programming (HSE, LMT, IPCO, QCP, WCC, RAC-CT, RAC-CTA, APC).

She presents regularly at state association events, develops curriculum for administrator and leadership education, and advocates nationally for assisted living providers navigating an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Bernie McGuinness is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 28 years of experience in post-acute care, bringing a strong blend of clinical expertise, operational leadership, and entrepreneurial vision. His career began as a certified nursing assistant, where he developed a deep respect for frontline caregivers and the residents they serve. He later became a licensed practical nurse and, ultimately, a comprehensive health facility administrator, using his clinical foundation to successfully lead and stabilize complex organizations.

Throughout his career, Bernie has played a significant role in multi-facility operations and organizational growth. He has been involved in the acquisition and integration of dozens of skilled nursing and senior living communities across multiple states, working with a wide range of ownership groups. His ability to navigate change, strengthen operations, and build strong leadership teams has consistently driven success.

As a co-founder of Majestic Care and Bluegrass Consulting Group, Bernie helped grow those organizations from a small foundation into a broad network of communities across the Midwest. During this time, he developed a leadership approach centered on accountability, culture, and the importance of empowering local teams.

Today, as a co-founder of Journey Skilled Nursing, Bernie is focused on continuing to build a strong and connected organization. Since its founding, he has helped guide steady growth while reinforcing a culture that supports and recognizes team members at every level. He remains actively engaged in developing leaders, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring each location is equipped to deliver high-quality care.

Bernie’s leadership reflects a belief that strong local teams and a healthy culture are essential to long-term success. Deborah (Debbie) Rowe is the Vice President, Genesis Nursing Workforce Development. She is responsible for company-wide CNA training, school clinical affiliations and workforce development. She was awarded the Genesis HealthCare Talent Acquisition and Development Remarkable Achievement Award and Leadership Award and was honored to attend The White House Upskill America Summit.

As a registered nurse for 44 years, Deborah has served on committees and advisories for Baltimore County Workforce Development Board, Maryland Board of Nursing/Nursing Assistant Advisory Committee, Pennsylvania Health Care Association Workforce Committee, AHCA (American Health Care Association) Workforce Committee and Towson University School of Health Professions Advisory Committee.

Deborah served as former Chair on the Executive Board of the Baltimore Alliance for Careers in HealthCare (BACH), past president of the National Association for Health Care Recruitment and past member of the Executive Committee at CareerSTAT. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.

Deborah has a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Towson University. She has a Supervisory Leadership certificate from Loyola University and is certified in human resources and recruitment.

Ms. Cox has served with Christian Care Communities since 2011, bringing extensive leadership experience across senior living, workforce development, and person-centered dementia care. Before becoming Vice President of Operations in 2022, she served as Regional Executive Director with responsibility for The Homeplace at Midway, Bridgepointe at Ashgrove Woods, and the Best Friends Adult Day Center. In her current role, she oversees workforce development across the company.

Ms. Cox also served as Vice President for Mission and Service for the Greater Kentucky/Southern Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. For more than 25 years, she has developed programs and services for people living with dementia and their caregivers, including national curriculum development for professional caregivers in a variety of care settings. She presents locally and nationally on dementia care and is a co-author of two Best Friends™ books, The Best Friends Book of Alzheimer’s Activities, Volume One and Volume Two. She also contributed to new editions of The Best Friends Approach to Dementia Care and The Best Friends Staff with Virginia Bell and David Troxel.

Ms. Cox earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky. She has served as co-chair of the Kentucky Alzheimer’s Disease Advisory Council and currently serves on the board of LeadingAge Kentucky. She also supports the next generation of professionals as a social work practicum supervisor for universities across the Commonwealth.

Annette Craig Wenzler is a distinguished clinical executive and nursing leader with more than four decades of experience in healthcare operations, regulatory leadership, and long-term care.

Ms. Wenzler currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer for Exceptional Living Centers and as CEO and Partner of Adept Consulting Group.

Throughout her career, she has provided strategic clinical leadership across multi-state skilled nursing organizations, advancing regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, survey readiness, education, and performance improvement. Her work reflects a longstanding commitment to clinical excellence, operational integrity, and the advancement of care in post-acute and long-term care settings.

Lynn Fieldhouse, JD, CHC, serves as Chief Legal Officer of Everent Health, Inc. (EHI) and its affiliates, where she is responsible for the organization's legal, transactional, and risk management functions, providing strategic counsel across all affiliates and business lines. Lynn advises on complex and high risk legal matters related to healthcare operations, governance, regulatory compliance, and organizational growth, helping to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in a highly regulated environment and to supporting EHI's broader mission of enabling sustainable partnerships among mission-driven providers.

Lynn brings more than two decades of legal experience, including over twelve years as General Counsel and Chief Litigation-Risk Officer for a large, multi-state health care organization. Lynn also is certified in healthcare compliance with extensive experience in this area and has spoken nationally at many healthcare industry conferences and events on various topics. Lynn also co-authored a Chapter on 'Long Term Care Liability' and 'Types of Long Term Care Liability' in ASHRM's (American Society for Health Care Risk Management) Legal and Regulatory Playbook.

Before joining healthcare companies as in-house legal counsel, Lynn spent nearly twelve years in private practice, with a focus in commercial litigation and transactions, including for healthcare clients. She also has served on numerous non-profit boards throughout her career, including currently for the Ronald McDonald House of Louisville, Inc., and has built a comprehensive understanding of both the legal and operational challenges facing healthcare providers.

Known for her thoughtful leadership, sound judgment, and steady approach, Lynn excels at navigating sensitive and high-stakes issues. She collaborates closely with executive, clinical, and operational leaders to safeguard organizational integrity, prevent and mitigate risk, and advance sustainable, mission-driven care delivery for the communities Everent Health serves, while championing a culture of proactive risk prevention, compliance, and ethical decision-making throughout the organization.

Dr. Peter Salerno Jr. is a retired clinical therapist, ordained Presbyterian minister, author, and nationally recognized speaker on aging, mental health, resilience, and finding renewed purpose later in life. At 93 years old, he brings a rare combination of professional expertise, pastoral wisdom, and lived experience spanning more than nine decades of American history.

Following his training at the Menninger Foundation's Division of Religion and Psychiatry, Dr. Salerno founded the Old Louisville Counseling Center, where he served for decades as clinical director and principal therapist, helping thousands of individuals and families navigate life's most difficult challenges. His career has focused on the intersection of psychology, spirituality, and human resilience.

Dr. Salerno is the author of Living Well After 65: Blowing Through the Stop Sign of Old Age , a book that challenges the outdated belief that life begins to decline after retirement. Instead, he argues that today's longer lifespans create an unprecedented opportunity for a meaningful “second life,” one marked by continued growth, purpose, healthy relationships, and contribution. His work encourages audiences to rethink aging not as an ending, but as one of life's most important new beginnings.

Drawing on decades of clinical practice, ministry, and personal experience, Dr. Salerno speaks with warmth, humor, and candor about topics including mental health, anxiety, addiction, loneliness, relationships, healthcare, resilience, and the psychological tools needed to flourish in later life.
